About the Role: We are seeking qualified, experienced, and passionate Science Instructors to join our training team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring learners, and contributing to the development of a strong science education program.
Job Description:
A Laboratory Instructor is responsible for delivering practical instruction, supervising laboratory activities, and ensuring safe and effective use of laboratory equipment. The instructor supports theoretical learning by guiding students through experiments, demonstrations, and technical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explain scientific concepts and experimental procedures clearly and effectively.
- Conduct engaging laboratory and science practical sessions for students.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain laboratory materials, equipment, and reagents.
- Guide and supervise students during experiments to ensure safety and accuracy.
- Monitor student performance, troubleshoot lab issues, and support curriculum development.
Core Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.)
- Master’s degree (M.Sc.) or PhD is an added advantage
- Prior experience in laboratory work or teaching is preferred
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards
- Good communication and teaching skills
- Attention to detail and organizational ability
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
