The DNA Learning Center Nigeria has officially opened registration for its upcoming Genomics Gateway (Group Edition), a hands-on training program designed to equip participants with cutting-edge skills in DNA analysis and molecular biology.
The workshop will take place at the Advanced Molecular Biology Laboratory of Godfrey Okoye University, Ugwuomu-Nike, Enugu.
The program is specially structured for groups, institutions, research teams, and student bodies, offering a collaborative learning environment that bridges theoretical knowledge with real-world laboratory experience.
Participants will be trained in key genomic techniques including Precision Pipetting, Genomic DNA Extraction, Library Preparation, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, and Bioinformatics/Data Analysis.
The group-focused model is designed to enhance learning outcomes through teamwork, shared problem-solving, and intensive practical exposure.
The training comes at a time when genomics and biotechnology are playing increasingly critical roles in healthcare, agriculture, and scientific innovation across Nigeria and beyond.
Registration is currently open, with a group participation fee of ₦50,000 per participant, under a discounted group rate structure. Interested participants are encouraged to register early as limited slots are available.
